How to send Google a DMCA takedown notice:
- Identify the content that you want to report as a copyright violation.
- Visit Google's content report webpage: https://support.google.com/legal/troubleshooter/1114905
- Select the Google product where the infringing content is hosted (Google Search, YouTube, Drive, etc.).
- Complete Google's interactive prompts to reach the appropriate webform.
- Fill out the form with the necessary information, including your contact info, the infringing content's URL, and your proof of ownership of the copyrighted material.
- Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Submit the form, and Google will review your request and take appropriate action.
Submitting false DMCA notices can result in legal action, so make sure you have a good-faith belief that the material is infringing on your copyright, or the copyright of someone you are authorized to represent, before submitting a DMCA notice.
